Fort Collins Mural Project (FCMP) is able to pay emerging & experienced artists from Colorado to create and uplift our city because of community members like you!
The Mural Project brings artists from all experience levels & backgrounds together to help make Fort Collins the little oasis on the Front Range that we all love so much. Murals are an important part of a thriving City’s ecosystem; bringing up community morale, increasing walk-in business, adding representation to under-represented communities, and helping deter crime passively with beauty.
On top of being a key part of Fort Collin’s ecosystem, we provide our artists with a rare opportunity for co-working & networking with other mural artists, professional development, creative freedom on a highly visible piece, marketing during & after The Mural Project, and portfolio building. These elements combined have helped FCMP launch several of our artists’ practices into fully sustainable careers.
FC Mural Project is funded solely by; community donations, business sponsorships, and grants. And we use every penny to pay our artists a living wage and provide supportive services to advance their careers.
