EVERYONE DESERVES ART.

I have never been so proud of anything in my entire life as I am of this mural. ...(it has) changed the trajectory of a lot of things for me, and I’m glad I can go out in the world and see my community in art.
— Shiv Tuck they/them (after completing their first mural ever in '22)

Our mission is to collaborate with local artists and businesses to promote contemporary art in public spaces within Fort Collins. FCMP is focused on providing opportunities for underrepresented and emerging artists in Colorado.

While we are based in Fort Collins, we are not affiliated with, nor funded by the Art in Public Places program which is funded by tax dollars.

Even with arts funding under attack, we plan to keep going. Currently well over 500 arts organizations have lost funding due to the attacks on the National Endowment for the Arts. We have one of our grants under attack, and we’ve had 3 annual sponsors say they are no longer doing donations to any organizations. But we will persist, because we know the one thing they can’t take away: community!

Land Acknowledgement:

Fort Collins Mural Project acknowledges, with respect, that the land we are on today is the traditional and ancestral homelands of the Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Ute Nations and peoples. This was also a site of trade, gathering, and healing for numerous other Indigenous people. We commit to ally-ship, to listen to and learn from Indigenous people, who lived sustainably with the land for thousands of years before colonization.
