FoCoMX is looking for 5 Fort Collins artists to paint windows of participating venues. Each artist will be asked to paint within the theme of "Mystic Magical Music" this can include creative interpretations of fortune telling, tarot cards, singing and bolts of lightning (loosely inspired by Zoltar fortune telling cards and game). All experience levels are welcome. Fort Collins Mural Project board members are here to help with any questions you may have, so there is no need for prior experience. Each window will be unique in size and shape and will be assigned once artists are selected. 

DO NOT send in designs for this project at this time. While we understand the excitement of wanting to design now, we ask that you refrain until you have been officially hired for your hard work. You deserve to be paid for it! 

*Selected artists will receive a stipend and two wristbands to FoCoMX!

FCMP will provide a stencil of the FoCoMX logo. Logos can be painted in any color combination. No need for a background for your design & FoCoMX logo (the venues need to keep visibility during the very busy and exciting FoCoMX weekend). Images that depict violence, hate speech, drug use, and/or are sexual explicit will not be selected.

Stipend: Each artist will be paid a stipend $100 and receive two wristbands for FoCoMX ($150 value!) upon completion.

Timeline: Call for Artists January 20th - February 3rd at 11:59 PM (mountain time zone)

February 11: Selected artists are notified.

March 11: Mock-ups due.

March 25 - April 3: Artists are painting! Mural completion deadline by April 3rd end of day.

April 24 and 25: FoCoMX WEEKEND! Tickets sold here!
