Community Director?
This call is open to all people, and we hope to grow our board of directors to include individuals from diverse identities, backgrounds, and experiences. We are looking for people with experience, skills, and resources that can help us fulfill our mission. This is the official application for the Technical Director position.
Mission:
FC Mural Project (FCMP) is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to promoting contemporary art in public spaces within Fort Collins. FCMP is focused on providing opportunities for underrepresented and emerging artists in Colorado.
Timeline:
6/18/26 - Call for applicants opens
7/9/26 - Call closes at 11 PM
7/15/26 through 8/10/26 - Interviews
General Responsibilities:
- Oversee big picture for partner relationships: Create and maintain strategy for community partnerships. Identify and solidify opportunities.
- Event and Volunteer Coordination: Own the annual event and volunteer strategy. Work in partnership with the Project Manager to balance calendar priorities. Create detailed plans for events and volunteers and lead execution.
- Manage donor relations: Create and maintain a donor community, send thank yous to our donors as donations come in.
- Run our mural map and tours: create self-guided community interactions like scavenger hunts based on our map.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit, able to delegate when needed
Experience in mural production or a related field, or a willingness to learn
Experience in event coordination
Comfortable working with volunteers, artists, and community stakeholders
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
NOT already overcommitted or overextended with other commitments
